The hole

I found my soulmate.
Two bodies one soul.
The two parts of the soul began to coalesce.
The peace that follows,
the meeting of a soul with it's lost half,
is unfathomable;
but the rollercoaster of life
had reached the highest ground.
From now on it was only down.

My soulmate left,
Leaving a gaping hole.
There's nothing I can do,
but watch it grow.
No one can heal it,
hurt seems stronger than love.
The more I try to fix it,
the more it feeds on my soul.
Any effort,
seems to make it faster.
Hopelessly I wait for the day,
that the hole becomes my soul.
