Time slows, almost comes to a stop,
like the never falling, frozen last drop.
From the prison of inaction, the drop is freed.
Time speeds up again, at break neck speed.
You can't take any more, life throws another blow.
Knocks the wind out of you, when you're at your lowest low.
Just when you raise your hands and lose all hope,
life turns around and throws you a rope.
They're on the park bench, drowning in each other's eyes,
ready to be together, till one of them dies.
With tearful eyes, she slaps him hard.
Once cutlery, now shard.
once a new born baby, kicking and alive,
now six feet under, countless maggots thrive.
Ups and dow
I found my soulmate.
Two bodies one soul.
The two parts of the soul began to coalesce.
The peace that follows,
the meeting of a soul with it's lost half,
is unfathomable;
but the rollercoaster of life
had reached the highest ground.
From now on it was only down.
My soulmate left,
Leaving a gaping hole.
There's nothing I can do,
but watch it grow.
No one can heal it,
hurt seems stronger than love.
The more I try to fix it,
the more it feeds on my soul.
Any effort,
seems to make it faster.
Hopelessly I wait for the day,
that the hole becomes my soul.
I found my soulmate.
